CHEF DE PARTIE / LINE CHEF – THE GREEN MAN (STALLINGBOROUGH)

Part of Mettle Pub Co.
We’re on the lookout for a passionate and reliable Chef de Partie / Line Chef to join our kitchen team at The Green Man, a busy, welcoming village pub that’s part of the Mettle Pub Co. family.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a love of fresh food, teamwork, and pride in their craft to develop their skills in a supportive environment.

What you’ll do

  • Prepare and cook dishes to spec, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to keep service running smoothly.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and food safety.
  • Contribute ideas for specials and menu development.
  • Play your part in creating a positive, hard-working kitchen culture.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience as a Line Chef, Commis Chef, or CDP in a similar environment.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and a genuine passion for food.
  • Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety standards.
  • Someone reliable, organised, and able to stay calm under pressure.
