We are looking for a Chef de Partie with a love for French Cuisine to help lead the team at Bistro Grenier & Odd Culture Newtown. You should have the ambition and drive to want to grow into a Head Chef role as the company grows and expands this year.
Bistro Grenier is our French bistro in Newtown. The restaurant is the realisation of the Group’s marked focus on precise and exceptional food. The venue’s expansive ground level caters to those stopping by for a quick bite; while the brand new dining room upstairs features aged timber and glass-framed mezzanine offers a refined dining experience. With a new, open-plan and modern kitchen, flooded with natural light, the food concept hones in on techniques and flavour profiles from France; using the best produce we can get our hands on, to simply make delicious and interesting food.

About you:

  • High emotional intelligence with a calm & clear communication style
  • Strong attention to detail and great organisational skills
  • Able to creatively contribute to our food offerings
  • Classically trained or had experience in French cuisine
  • 1-2 years experience in a senior role
  • Ambitious with a passion for the hospitality industry and high quality produce
