Known for its authentic flavours and welcoming environment, Bomba is looking for a passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team.

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As Chef de Partie at Bomba, you will be responsible for preparing and creating high-quality, traditional Spanish dishes. You’ll work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs to ensure smooth kitchen operations and maintain exceptional standards of service. This role requires a dedication to both culinary excellence and operational efficiency.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare and cook food to the highest standard, maintaining Bomba’s commitment to quality.
  • Monitor stock movement and manage ordering within your section to ensure efficient stock control.
  • Minimize kitchen wastage and ensure a clean, organized work environment.
  • Demonstrate and share product knowledge with your team and ensure it is communicated to all relevant personnel.
  • Complete mis en place in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring all components are ready for service.
  • Learn and record skills and recipes from other members of the kitchen team.
  • Report any maintenance issues to the Head Chef promptly.
  • Adhere to Bomba’s policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to implement new dishes, menu changes, and kitchen systems.
  • Assist with menu design and contribute to the development of new dishes.
  • Be flexible and assist the kitchen during busy periods as required.
