Chef de Partie - Breakfast
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Breakfast Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience in breakfast preparation, working efficiently to ensure timely and high-quality breakfast service for our guests. You will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene in a fast-paced environment.
Australian working rights are required for this role.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role, preferably in a large hotel or high-volume environment.
  • Strong knowledge of breakfast cuisine including eggs, pancakes, pastries, cereals, and hot and cold breakfast items.
  • Excellent cooking skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong team player with good communication skills.
  • Food hygiene and safety certification is desirable.
  • Flexibility to work early morning shifts and weekends.
Responsibilities
  • A minimum of 2 years of previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Demi Chef de Partie role
  • A current, valid, and relevant trade commercial cookery qualification (proof may be required)
  • Strong coaching skills
  • Ability and desire to motivate teams
  • Excellent communication skills
  • NVQ Level 3
  • Achieved Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Supervisory experience
