Australian Venue Co is seeking experienced Chef de Parties to join our Cairns team. We have positions at venues such as Palm Cove, Trinity Beach, or Barron River, giving you the chance to bring your skills to one of the region’s most popular kitchens. Each venue offers its own unique style, atmosphere, and dynamic kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As a Chef de Partie, you’ll take responsibility for your section, delivering consistent, high-quality dishes while supporting a collaborative kitchen team. You’ll work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs to maintain standards, execute menus, and ensure smooth service.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a high standard
  • Take ownership of your section and ensure consistency
  • Support the brigade and collaborate on service delivery
  • Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations
  • Assist in training junior chefs when required
