Description:

Carrig County House is a family run county house and restaurant and member of Ireland’s Blu Book. We have 16 bedrooms and a restaurant that caters for our residents and local visitors.
Our Head Chef Patricia Teahan who has been with us for 15 years is looking for a Chef de Partie to join her team.
The Chef de Partie will be responsible for a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring that dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. This role requires creativity, precision, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
The role is an opportunity for a Chef-de-Partie or a Comis chef with a minimum 2yrs experience in a busy fine dining restaurant who wishes to learn new techniques from an experienced Head Chef creating and serving dishes to exceed our customers’ expectations.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a busy creative restaurant or hotel, preferably with at least 2 years of experience as Chef-de-Partie and or Commis.
  • You will be a team player and self-starter
  • Have a thorough knowledge of HACCP.
  • Strong communication skill in the English language is necessary for this position.

Job Type: Full-time, fixed term
Pay: € based on experience
Expected hours: 40+ per week
