REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1+ years of experience as a Chef de Partie
  • Knowledge of HACCP and experience in practice
  • Experience in a four star kitchen is desirable
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English
  • Excellent ability to work under pressure as part of a team
  • Flexible, innovative, and adaptable

Responsibilities

ROLE/ RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef with the overall running of the kitchen and all back of house areas.
  • Prepares and properly garnishes food orders as they are received in accordance with recipes and proper plate presentation.
  • Ensures close down of section in accordance with departmental procedures and standards.
  • To take direction from the department managers and to assist in the monitoring of food quality and hygiene standards.
  • To adhere to HACCP procedures at all times.
  • To ensure all kitchen staff observe appropriate systems of hygiene during food preparation and storage.
