HIRING NOW – COMMIS CHEF / DEMI CHEF / CHEF DE PARTIE

We are an established Asian Fusion restaurant located in the heart of Richmond North, known for bold flavours, creative plating, and a relaxed but vibrant dining atmosphere. As we continue to grow, including the launch of our new catering arm, we’re looking for motivated and passionate chefs to join our dynamic back-of-house team.
Location: Richmond North, Melbourne
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $60,000 – $75,000 per annum (depends on position and experience)

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a commercial kitchen (CDP roles require 2–3+ years)
  • Experience or strong interest in Asian cuisines
  • Good communication and time management skills
  • Reliable, enthusiastic, and eager to learn
  • Must hold a valid visa that allows full-time work in Australia (or the relevant country)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with our Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver consistently high-quality dishes
  • Be hands-on in preparation, plating, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
  • Take ownership of your section (CDP) or assist senior chefs (Commis/Demi)
  • Contribute to seasonal menu development and weekly specials
  • Uphold food safety and hygiene standards at all times
  • Assist with catering prep and execution as part of our new business expansion
