Job Description The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering authentic Chinese dishes that meet the high standards of our luxury resort. The Chef de Partie will be managing the Chinese section of the kitchen, ensuring consistency, quality, and creativity in the preparation of meals. This role is ideal for a motivated and passionate individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to providing exceptional culinary experiences for our guests. Responsible for running the Asian cuisine section, especially the Chinese stations. Efficiently measuring kitchen ingredients and food portions. Ensuring kitchen staff adhere to set standards, procedures, department rules, and sanitation requirements. Managing the kitchen inventory, ensuring supplies are fresh and of high quality. Ensuring proper food temperatures when cooking and proper storage afterward. Keeping the workstation and kitchen equipment clean and organized. Taking charge of kitchen opening, closing, and other side duties as directed by the executive chef. Designing and preparing Chinese cuisine menus under the direct supervision of the executive chef. Qualifications Minimum 3 years experience in a similar position in the culinary industry. Proficient in English and Mandarin. Strong knowledge of Chinese cuisine, HACCP and safety standards. Outgoing, creative personality, excellent communication skills, flexible working hours, ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressured environment. Strong multicultural awareness and ability to work with people from diverse cultures. Great attention to detail and creativity. Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
