Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

As the Chef de Partie you will be responsible for providing structure and guidance to the daily kitchen operation. You shall possess a higher-than-average knowledge of the food and beverage industry and a strong passion to continue to learn new trends and ideas. You shall be confident in your abilities and be able to teach and mentor staff members.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Overall management of BOH operations in the absence of the Executive Sous Chef and Sous Chef
  • Assist in implementing and monitoring kitchen procedures
  • Conducts daily shift meetings to keep all food and beverage staff informed
  • Ensure food is rotated properly and refreshed to maintain quality and avoid waste
  • Monitor par stock levels
  • Foster a positive work environment
  • Update ordering of products as needed
  • Keeps Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef informed on the daily operation of the food and beverage operation
  • Continued organization and management of store rooms
  • Any other tasks as assigned by your direct manager
