Based at InterContinental Muscat, the Chef de Partie will be responsible for supporting the head and sous chef in a busy hotel kitchen delivering consistently high-quality food, handle purchases orders and ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and keeps up to date with the new products, recipes and preparation techniques.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of international and regional cuisines
  • Experience in food preparation and recipe development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Culinary Skills or related field
  • 3 years’ experience as a chef including at least 2 years in similar positions or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
