JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef De Partie/ KP to join well establised Rural Country side pub in West Berkahire.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a CDP, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation, while adhering to food safety regulations.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment or as a cook is essential
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A genuine passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight our guests.
  • This Role is Currently holiday and cover leading to a permanent role in a Rural setting in West Berkhire.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the restaurant’s menu and specifications.
  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
  • Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the safe handling and storage of food products.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and delivery.
  • Monitor stock levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing.
  • Participate in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes or improvements to existing recipes.
