IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Outstanding culinary skills and experience in a busy, high-volume kitchen
  • Leadership ability to inspire and support commis chefs and kitchen assistants
  • A keen eye for detail, food presentation, and plate consistency
  • Knowledge of HACCP, allergens, food safety, and best kitchen practices
  • A calm, positive attitude with the ability to perform under pressure

Desirable Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Professional Cookery or equivalent
  • Level 2/3 Food Hygiene Certificate
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Chef de Partie, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional food experiences across breakfast, lunch, and hospitality services to over 4,500 discerning customers daily. Working as part of a large, professional kitchen team, you will lead a section and ensure all dishes are cooked and presented to exacting standards — because here, every detail matters.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead a section of the kitchen, producing dishes to high culinary and visual standards
  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to portion specifications and recipe standards
  • Support junior team members through hands-on training and daily guidance
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety policies, including allergen awareness and Natasha’s Law
  • Accurately process and receive orders, maintain stock control, and reduce waste
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness and support smooth, efficient kitchen operations
  • Collaborate with the wider team to deliver flawless service across all food offerings
