Cutten Fields, established in 1931, is a private golf and tennis club located in Guelph Ontario. We have developed a first class food and beverage operation catering to our member’s needs and offering banquet facilities. We are currently searching for an experienced Chef de Partie. As a seasonally fluctuating operation, the position requires an individual who can maximize time efficiently and work the necessary hours as dictated by the season and the Executive Chef / Food and Beverage Manager.
As a key member of the culinary team, the Chef de Partie, work closely with the Executive Chef and Food and Beverage Manager and Chef de Cuisine to ensure satisfaction above and beyond our member’s expectations. The Chef de Partie will assist in training and developing our cooks and kitchen stewards.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Prepare and attractively serve all food items
  • Maintain Food Health and Safety Guidelines
  • Develop daily specials
  • Work the line, outside BBQ’s, prepare, cook and plate banquets
  • Preparation of all food items
  • Daily cleaning of work areas
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Experience on all areas of the line as well as exposure to banquets
  • Good understanding of systems, and use of equipment

  • Communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and written
  • Excellent planning and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and to take the initiative
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively and adapt to change
