The Diamond Coast is looking for a Chef de Partie to join the Team!
Reporting directly to the Executive Head Chef, Assisting with managing the production of food to an exceptional standard

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be a self-starter, with a positive attitude and good communication skills with fluent English.
  • Available to work early and late shifts both midweek and weekend.
  • Must have a minimum of 2-3 years relative experience in a restaurant, hotel or golf resort.
  • Highly organised, strong team player and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will report to and take direction from the Executive Head Chef. Your main areas of responsibility will include, but are not confined to:-

  • Assisting with managing the production of food to an exceptional standard
  • Assisting with the creation of imaginative menus
  • Implementing, monitoring and complying with food hygiene and HACCP procedures
  • Implementing, monitoring and complying with Health & Safety Procedures
  • Ensuring quality control procedures are implemented and adhered to
  • Stock rotation, ordering & recording as required
  • Assisting with the management and supervision of kitchen brigade, particularly in the absence of the Executive Head Chef.
  • Assisting with training of kitchen brigade
  • Maintaining regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance and personal hygiene
