Job Description At Pastore, our signature modern Italian restaurant, we bring together Italian tradition and Melbourne creativity to deliver refined, flavour-driven dishes in a luxury setting. We are seeking a talented and driven full-time Chef de Partie to lead a section within our Pastore kitchen. What you'll be doing... Lead and manage your designated section during preparation and service Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes in line with Pastore’s standards Maintain exceptional organisation, cleanliness, and food safety within your section Support the Executive Chef in menu execution and seasonal updates Train and mentor junior chefs and apprentices within the kitchen Monitor portion control, stock rotation, and minimisation of waste Collaborate with the front of house team to ensure a seamless and elevated guest experience Maintain consistency, efficiency, and attention to detail throughout every service Qualifications Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a high-quality restaurant environment A genuine passion for Italian cuisine and premium seasonal produce Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and develop junior chefs Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy section A calm and focused approach under pressure Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency Availability to work full-time hours including evenings, weekends, and public holidays Additional Information What’s in it for you...
