Working in one of the region’s most prestigious hotels, Langley Castle is rated 4* (Silver) and has an award winning fine dining restaurant.
Our kitchen team is the heart of the hotel, providing breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and of course fine dining in the evening to our guests, both resident and non-resident. Due to increased levels of business, we are now looking to increase the size of the team and are therefore looking for our next superstar!
You will be learning all aspects of fine dining cuisine from stocks to desserts, learning from our hugely experienced and award-winning team, if you are looking for a step to help you launch your culinary career, this could be the opportunity you are looking for.
You will hopefully have had some experience working in a busy hotel in either the front of house or back of house so will understand how important our guests are to us and ideally will already have had some experience working in a kitchen environment. The key for us is that you are willing to learn, understand the need to perhaps adapt the skills which you already have and have great attention to detail.
We are seeking to find a talented and passionate Chef de Partie to join our elite Langley Castle team

Responsibilities
  • Under the guidance and supervision of the Head Chef, you will assist the Sous Chef in overseeing and directing all aspects of the kitchen operation.
  • Responsibilities will include:
  • Being trained and adhering to Food Safety Standards, maintaining high levels of cleanliness in the kitchen at all times – we expect to maintain a 5* Hygiene rating at all times
  • Work with the Head Chef/ Sous Chef to provide seasonal menus
  • Prepare, cook and execute food to a high-quality set standard
  • Be responsible for own section, ordering, administration
  • Train and develop the kitchen team with the support from the Head Chef & Sous Chef
  • Follow recipes, health & safety and other guidelines set in place
  • Maintain the highest food hygiene level and safety standards
  • Be passionate about providing the best experience for our guests
  • Work well in an intimate team setting
