The ideal candidate will have a good all round knowledge and experience in all corners of the kitchen.
There will be the opportunity to have input in the planning of menus and creating new dishes for our Cook’s Bar and Kitchen menu.
The right candidate will have the ability to grow and develop with excellent future opportunities to progress their career.
Within the role you will be expected to deliver restaurant service as well as banqueting (up to 150) as well as special events including conferences and funeral teas.
Shifts will be predominantly straight shifts working 5 days over 7 within a rota system

Job Duties:

• Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean working station whilst adhering to health & safety standards
• Assist with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen and equipment
• Adhere to all food hygiene & safety standards

Additional Duties:

• Menu planning
• Recording food temperatures

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £27,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
