Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Harry’s Bar Newcastle is looking for an experienced and versatile Chef de Partie to join our busy kitchen team. You’ll need to be confident working across the à la carte, fish section, starters and pizza and pasta knowledge.
This is a fast-paced role that requires excellent time management, the ability to perform under pressure, and strong teamwork skills. We’re looking for someone committed — especially during the Christmas and New Year period.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work efficiently across the à la carte, fish section, starters and pizza and pasta knowledge.
  • Maintain high food quality and consistency during busy service.
  • Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Communicate clearly with the kitchen and front-of-house teams.
  • Manage prep and service tasks to meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.

  • Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role
  • Strong skills in at least one core section (a la carte, fish, starters, pizza and pasta)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Excellent time management and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to stay and work during Christmas and New Year
