RAC Karri Valley Resort is located in the beautiful Southwest region of WA, approximately 3.5 hours' drive from Perth and just a short drive from Pemberton town centre. We are currently looking for a Chef de Partie on a full-time basis to join us at our resort and support the Head Chef and Sous Chef at The Lakeside Restaurant. The Lakeside Restaurant at RAC Karri Valley Resort offers not only breathtaking views of Lake Beedelup, but also a tantalising menu hand selected by our Head Chef and their team, who take pride in choosing only the best of the Great Southern Forest Food & Wine region. This role would be ideal for a local or someone looking to relocate from Perth - accommodation is available at a reduced cost allowing the right candidate to live and work on-site. At Chef de Partie at RAC Karri Valley Resort, you will be a key player in preparing food before meal service begins, setting up and stocking kitchen stations and plating cooked foods. You will also be responsible for providing RAC members and guests with high quality food service operations while upholding our commitment to delivering exceptional service, quality, and safety at our beautiful Lakeside Restaurant. In this role you will: Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment, including proper storage of food, equipment, utensils, and equipment. Ensure all aspects of food preparation, cooking and presentation of a variety of dishes. Liaise with front of house and management regarding customers and general service of kitchen operations. Supervise and train cooks and kitchen staff. Clean, sanitise and disinfect all kitchen areas. What are we looking for in you? Formal Cookery qualifications such as a Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery with a minimum of two years relevant experience. Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen. Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage operations, including food safety and quality standards. Highly effective verbal communication skills. Availability to work a range of hours including weekends and public holidays. Willingness to obtain a Police Check. What are we offering you? Competitive salary ranging between $75K - $80K + Super.
