A little taste of your day-to-day: Every day is different, but you'll mostly be: * Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes within your designated kitchen section, ensuring consistency and excellence in every plate. * Taking ownership of your section by maintaining stock levels, controlling food costs, reducing waste, and ensuring all equipment is clean and well maintained. * Supervising, coaching, and supporting Commis Chefs and junior team members to help them develop their culinary skills and deliver excellent results. * Ensuring all food preparation, storage, and kitchen operations comply with local food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations. * Assisting with daily mise en place, menu preparation, and maintaining the quality standards expected of the Holiday Inn brand. * Working closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to deliver efficient kitchen operations during breakfast, lunch, dinner, banquets, and special events. * Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment while following all HACCP and health & safety procedures. * Taking on additional duties as required and supporting your colleagues to ensure every guest enjoys a great dining experience. What We Need from You: * Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or an experienced Demi Chef de Partie ready to progress. * A recognised culinary qualification or equivalent practical experience. * Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, food safety, and kitchen operations. * The ability to work independently while leading your section and supporting the wider kitchen team. * Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays. * Compliance with local food handling regulations * Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine passion for hospitality and teamwork.
