The ideal candidate will specialize in authentic Moroccan dishes, ensuring high-quality preparation, presentation, and consistency while supporting kitchen operations and maintaining exceptional hygiene standards. Prepare, cook, and present a wide range of traditional Moroccan dishes. Coordinate with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations. To inform your superior of any goods required, to fill out any requisitions and hand them to superiors for signature. Assist in developing Moroccan menu offerings for themed nights, promotions, and special events. To prepare, cook, present and assist with serving the food according to standard recipes, observing the correct portion control procedures at all times. To make up mise-en-place for service and for the following session according to standard recipes and levels. Supervise and support junior kitchen staff. Ensure all food preparation meets health, safety, and hygiene regulations To be able to check the quantity and quality of food and to make a list to bring up to the necessary level for the next service. To ensure food is correctly dated, labelled, rotated and stored. Be able to resolve customer complaints, adhering to excellent service standards, ensuring that communicate any complaint onto your superior. Qualifications Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie with specialization in Moroccan cuisine.
