Location: Near Reigate, Surrey

Salary: £26 – 30K DOE

Job Type: Full time, permanent

Hours: Shift working pattern 5 days over 7 Earlies & Lates

Jade Recruitment is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and respected hotel in the Reigate area for an experienced Chef De Partie to join their team on a permanent full-time basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy, high-quality hotel with approximately 50 bedrooms, catering to weddings, events, and conferences. The successful candidate will be working with the Head and Sous Chef.

As a Chef de Partie you will prepare, cook and serve the restaurant menu’s hot and cold food and offerings, maintain all food hygiene standards whilst ensuring all the work and storage areas are kept clean and tidy.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have a history of working in a professional catering environment; will have robust knowledge and skills in preparing “fresh” and “timely” delivered food.

Your principal duties will extend to: -

• Planning, preparing and cooking menu items as directed by the Sous / Head Chef.
• Assisting in the development and planning of menus, including future food trends,
• Carrying out the smooth and efficient running of your section
• Actively help maintain compliance with current Dietary, Food Safety and EHO Standards
• Being passionate about developing new styles of service and concepts
• Assisting with stock taking when required.
• Assist with the other Kitchen duties on an as needs basis

• Proven experience as a CDP within a high-quality hotel environment
• Good team player, hardworking and enthusiastic
• Passionate about food, creativity, and delivering exceptional guest experiences
• Organised, proactive, and able to perform well under pressure
