From flavorful appetizers and culinary masterpieces from the charcoal grill to the most exquisite culinary creations on our menu, we offer a chef's menu where you can unleash your creativity as a Chef de Partie. As a cook, you get to work with the finest ingredients within a work week with standard hours. Currently, we operate a 4-day to 5-day 38-hour workweek, as NY Basement is open from Tuesday through Saturday. Additionally, we host a Live Music Lunch twice a month on Sundays; during those weeks, you will work 5 days, while the other weeks involve 4. The NYB is also occasionally rented out for exclusive parties. Naturally, this is always announced well in advance, so you can take this into account when planning your own appointments.What does Hotel New York offer you?

• Reliability: the salary is always deposited on time!
• Salary: the starting salary depends on your experience and ranges between €2,750 and €3,000 gross per month based on 38 hours; you work 4 days one week and 5 days the other, excluding tips, holiday pay, and holiday hours.
• 40/30 member:
• Overnight stay for 2 people for €40 including breakfast at all WestCord Hotels;
• 30% discount on the bill if you come for a bite to eat (food and drink combination);
• 30% discount on items in the Hotel New York Kiosk / WestCord products and on Wellness in WestCord Hotels.
• Training so you can continue to develop yourself.
• A schedule that is always known at least 2 weeks in advance.
• A net bonus of €250 when you refer a new colleague and they are hired!
• A hotel stay at Hotel New York including dinner if you pass your probationary period!

• Guiding and motivating the kitchen team at all levels.
• Assisting and supporting the Head Chef.
• Contribution of the menu, menus, and recipes to be used.
