CHEF

We are currently recruiting an experienced chef to join the kitchen team and are looking for the right person to join us.
The role is at an Independent hotel where employees work as part of a small, friendly team to deliver excellent service.
Our expectations are high and we aim for our guests to have the best possible experience whether eating in our restaurant or attending a wedding, event or function and this is delivered through the kitchen

SKILLS

  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Have experience of preparing and serving freshly prepared food
  • The ability to offer great service.
  • Flexibility and the ability to work under pressure
  • Enthusiastic and creative chef with proven industry experience
  • Banqueting experience required
Responsibilities
  • Be able to run the kitchen during service
  • Supervise and coordinate activities as required
  • Determine how food should be presented, and create decorative food displays.
  • Monitor the arrangement and quality of food that is prepared.
  • Stock control, liaise with suppliers.
  • Maintain a high standard of kitchen, food safety, cleanliness and hygiene
  • Working in a small but dedicated team of chefs to bring the best dining experience to our guests.
