Chef de Partie – Insieme, Amsterdam

Insieme is a Italian restaurant in Amsterdam looking for a motivated and experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team.

We are looking for someone with at least 2–3 years of professional kitchen experience, who is passionate about food, enjoys working as part of a team, and is eager to grow within our kitchen.

The Role

You will initially be working in the cold section (Garde Manger), preparing starters, dessert, cold dishes and mise en place. As you become familiar with our kitchen, standards and menu, you will have the opportunity to move into the hot section and take on more responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes according to our recipes and quality standards
• Initially work independently in the cold section and gradually move to the hot section
• Prepare and organize mise en place efficiently
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and hygiene
• Keep your workstation clean and organized
• Work closely with the Head Chef and the rest of the kitchen team
• Follow HACCP and food safety procedures
• Contribute to a positive and professional kitchen environment

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience working in a professional kitchen
• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Commis Chef with relevant experience
• Good knowledge of kitchen organization and basic cooking techniques
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy services
• Team player with a positive and professional attitude
• Reliable, organized and motivated to learn
• Willingness to take responsibility and grow within the team
• English is required; Italian or Dutch is a plus
