Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and talented Chef de Partie / Junior Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for cooking, excellent culinary skills, and a keen eye for detail. As a Chef de Partie / Junior Chef, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen efficiency, and upholding our standards of excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook dishes according to the menu specifications.
- Manage and oversee a specific section of the kitchen.
- Ensure food quality and presentation standards are consistently met.
- Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Junior Chef or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality dishes.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Due to our location, a driving license and car are essential for this role.
