JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for a Chef to join our kitchen team for the summer on the beautiful North Norfolk coast. You’ll be cooking at NOPA in its second season, a Mexican fusion restaurant and cocktail bar.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced kitchen, gain valuable experience, and be part of a friendly, passionate team serving high-quality food to locals and holidaymakers alike. We’re looking for someone with around 5 years experience working in a busy commercial kitchen.
The role requires someone who’s enthusiastic and adaptable, is comfortable working at pace, has an eye for fine detail and loves coming up with exciting new dishes.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A genuine passion for food and willingness to learn
  • Previous kitchen experience is preferred
  • Ability to work under pressure, at pace and as part of a communicative team
  • Good time management and attention to detail
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude
Responsibilities
  • Preparation of delicious food to a high standard
  • Presentation of dishes to an ‘instagrammable’
  • Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety
  • Organisation, planning of stock levels. Maintaining a mise en place throughout opening hours.
