EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in supervising or managing team members is advantageous.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Supervise kitchen staff during food preparation and cooking processes.
  • Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen team members to ensure timely service during busy periods.
  • Assist in the training of new kitchen staff, promoting best practices in food preparation and safety.
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
  • Participate in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes.
