The Chef de Partie plays a critical hands-on role in food preparation, supervising team members, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, and developing operational capabilities within the team.  A few of your responsibilities  * Ensure the quality and consistency of food served  * Coordinate section activity to maintain timing, quality, and consistency during shift  * Ensure all equipment is clean, operational, and safely used  * Assist in stock rotation, portion control, and report on low stock or wastage  * Mentor, train, and support the development of Demi, Commis, and Apprentice Chefs within the team  What are we looking for  * Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in fine dining kitchen  * Cert 3 in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)  * Experience driving quality and consistency, with a passion for a diverse range of food and a keen desire for continuous learning  * Ability to ensure a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness within the kitchens  * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment  * Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays  Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our Culinary team at The Star Gold Coast.
