Job Description Manage and oversee a specific kitchen section (e.g., hot kitchen, cold kitchen, pastry, grill). Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to established recipes and standards. Ensure high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation at all times. Supervise and train Commis Chefs and kitchen assistants. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in compliance with hygiene and safety regulations. Monitor stock levels and report shortages or spoilage to the Sous Chef or Head Chef. Minimize waste and control food costs within the assigned section. Ensure proper storage and handling of food according to HACCP standards.
