OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CdP to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for exciting and innovative food, as well as a commitment to maintaining high standards of food preparation and safety. As a CdP, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional meals to our guests while working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The job requires working 2 weekend days (Friday - Sunday) as well as 2 days during the week (Tuesday - Thursday).

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask efficiently.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for cooking and creating high-quality meals.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene practices.
  • Assist in the organisation and cleanliness of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
  • Monitor stock levels of ingredients and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
  • Maintain a positive attitude while working under pressure during busy service periods.
