Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team in the food industry. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for meal preparation and ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and freshness. Duties:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and guidelines provided
- Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
Qualifications:
_ Minimum 3 years of Italian restaurant experience
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food service industry
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
