We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef de Partie to join our team for a new opening of a charming and atmospheric Scottish Bar and Restaurant in the vibrant Westend of Glasgow. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food preparation and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a busy restaurant environment. You will play a vital role in the kitchen, ensuring that all meals are prepared to perfection while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety. SKILLS

  • Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and cooking techniques.
  • Excellent leadership abilities, with experience in supervising and managing a team.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Assist in the management of kitchen operations, including food production and presentation.
  • Depending on position applied for ,supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
  • Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management and ordering.
  • Collaborate with team members to create new menu items and improve existing recipes.
