This is a fabulous opportunity for a talented Commis Chef (with lots of experience) or an existing Chef de Partie with ambition. We have a fantastic reputation and are a great place to work. We offer a competitive salary, bonuses and all of our staff share their tips via a tronc system. (A full timer should expect an additional £300 on top of the quoted salary per month)
We are recruiting additional Chefs who will form part of a hard-working, talented, tight-knit Kitchen team. Lunyalita is a unique and distinctive Catalan Restaurant & Bar on the Albert Dock. We are very busy with over 2500 covers every week. We personally source the very best of food and drink that Catalunya and Spain has to offer.
Our kitchen is extremely busy. With tapas, we cook over 8000 dishes every week.
We need a Chef de Partie who can cook, has a love of food, is well organised, able to work quickly and already have at least 1 years’ experience as Chef de Partie or two years experience as Commis Chef in similar busy kitchens who use totally fresh ingredients. A sound knowledge of Spanish gastronomy is highly desirable, too. You will work 5 shifts on, 2 days off every week. Your hours are capped at 40 hours - no ridiculous long shifts and an opportunity to have a work/life balance. Tips are shared amongst the whole team.
