SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in a hotel or fine-dining environment.
  • A passion for food and a strong commitment to culinary excellence.
  • Knowledge of modern and traditional cooking techniques.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Relevant culinary qualifications or equivalent experience.
  • A keen eye for detail and dedication to maintaining the highest standards.
Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the daily operations of the kitchen.
  • Supervise and guide kitchen staff to ensure smooth food preparation and service.

  • Support menu planning and contribute creative ideas for seasonal dishes.
  • Ensure that stock levels are managed effectively and wastage is minimized.
  • Comply with food safety and health regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Take charge of the kitchen in the absence of senior chefs, ensuring continued excellence in service.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain a positive and professional working atmosphere.
