The employer
The Ufford Crown is a family-fun pub and restaurant listed in the most recent Estrella Damm’s list of Top 100 Gastropubs.
The job
You’ll work within a small and dedicated brigade alongside talented and longstanding Head Chef Will Hardiman. Your primary responsibility will be on the starter and pastry sections, and we would love you to bring your own creative input into the menu. You will typically work just seven shifts per week, usually 40 hours, and tips are very good.
What you’ll need
Preferably 2 years experience in a restaurant kitchen
An excellent attitude towards teamwork, being a key contributor to a small brigade
A passion and commitment to learning
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and experience in maintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
Where you’ll be based
The pub is in Ufford, close to Woodbridge, Suffolk
What you’ll receive
£12.50 - £14.00 per hour dependent on experience
Hours between 35-48 available, dependent on what you are looking for - typically just seven shifts
Closed Monday & Tuesday
Great tips, close to £100 per week
28 days annual leave
