Job Description Oaks Auckland Hotel are looking for an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to oversee the kitchen operations at :DASH – on a full-time basis. :DASH Auckland has all the ingredients for success – a great team, an unbeatable location, and a concept built for energy. Key Responsibilities Include: Supervising kitchen team members, ensuring excellence and consistency in the product delivered to customers. Development of new menus and associated costing. Running stock control and managing all BOH food and wage costs. Enforcing daily and weekly systems and procedures to ensure a high level of presentation, hygiene, service, and product quality. Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations and food standards. Recruiting, inducting, training and rostering of BOH team members. Qualifications We’re not chasing fine dining or trends; we’re about attitude, energy, and execution. Formal culinary qualification. Ability to manage your own section confidently, maintaining consistency and quality. Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to support and motivate those around you. Ability to work well in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. Be flexible to work a range of different shifts, including weekends. Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
