  • Experience in similar-style venue
  • Experience with meat/protein & sourcing fresh local produce

Responsibilities:

This is your chance to join the team at the Railway Club Hotel in Port Melbourne as part of Morris Hospitality. The Railway Club Hotel is an iconic venue that has operated for over 40 years and remains one of the most popular steakhouse restaurants in the city.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced restaurant professional Chef de Partie - a person who is capable of driving excellent product, service and team culture. At the Railway Club Hotel, and across all Morris Hospitality venues, we are dedicated to ensuring the highest level of service and the smooth operation of all daily kitchen duties.

As Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting kitchen & front of house staff in delivering great food on a consistent basis
  • On-shift management of your section
  • Maintaining service standards & contributing to team culture & guest experience
  • Working with senior chefs to plan menus
  • Financial & cost management within scope of responsibilities
  • Ordering & stock control
  • Quality control of food production
  • Preparing & cooking all food items
  • Explaining & enforcing hygiene regulations
  • General kitchen operational duties as required

Full-Time Salary: $70,000 - $80,000
