We are seeking a part-time Chef De Partie at our Mr. Good guy restaurant, who wants more than just a job. Join us, and become a Heartist® Job Description ALL about the role – what you’ll be doing: With the support of the Head Chef and Sous Chef, lead the team supervising and setting a positive example for the team. Have a genuine passion for what you do, keep up with new food trends, and actively contribute to menu development. Ensure all food preparation and plating is executed efficiently and meets presentation guidelines. Have a flexible approach to adapting to guest requests. Effective leadership skills, including the ability to train and mentor your team Assist in stock management and inventory control while managing costs Ability to maintain cleanliness and high and consistent food standards at all times while following HACCP procedures Be flexible and rotate to work across breakfast, lunch and dinner to achieve the expected service standards. Qualifications ALL about you: An experienced Chef De Partie, preferably with knowledge of South East Asian Cuisine A formal qualification in commercial cookery Natural leadership skills with demonstrated results in developing and motivating teams. Your lead-by-example approach will be infectious Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude Motivation, energy and drive A passion to learn and grow within the business You must have working rights in Australia Additional Information What is in it for you?
