Job Description As a Chef de Partie at Pastore, our modern Italian restaurant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences that reflect our passion for high-quality, authentic cuisine. You’ll work closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to create beautifully presented dishes, maintain high standards of consistency, and contribute to the smooth operation of the kitchen. You’ll gain experience working in a luxury hotel environment, with exposure to the operational standards and finesse expected in Australia’s finest hospitality group. Key responsibilities: Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes consistently in line with Pastore’s standards Maintain exceptional hygiene, organisation, and cleanliness in your section and the kitchen Assist in menu preparation, portion control, and inventory management Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service Support the Executive Chef in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff Contribute ideas and creativity to menu development and seasonal specials Ensure all health and safety standards are adhered to at all times Maintain high standards of efficiency, consistency, and attention to detail Qualifications Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a busy kitchen A passion for Italian cuisine and creating dishes of the highest quality Strong attention to detail, consistency, and presentation Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards Excellent organisational and time-management skills Strong communication and teamwork skills Enthusiasm for mentoring and supporting junior team members Flexibility to work a roster including evenings, weekends, and public holidays Additional Information What’s in it for you...
