As a Chef de Partie Pastry, your passion and technical skills bring these stories to life delighting our guests and elevating their experience from breakfast service to banquets and special events: What you will be doing: Assist in the preparation and production of high-quality pastry items, desserts, and plated sweets Support the Pastry Chef in daily pastry operations, ensuring consistency in quality, taste, and presentation Prepare and maintain mise en place efficiently to ensure smooth and timely service Follow established recipes and presentation standards, while remaining open to learning new pastry techniques and trends Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in line with HACCP and food safety regulations Ensure proper stock rotation and assist in monitoring inventory levels within the pastry section Collaborate closely with the kitchen and service teams to ensure seamless execution for restaurants, banquets, and events Take responsibility for your section when delegated and proactively resolve any operational challenges during service Demonstrate initiative in developing your pastry skills and creativity under the guidance of senior chefs Handle guest dietary requirements and special dessert requests with care and attention to detail, delivering personalized and memorable experiences Qualifications Proven experience as a Demi Chef de Partie / Chef de Partie or similar role, with a strong focus on Pastry and Bakery. Experience in bulk cooking is essential. Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred. In-depth knowledge of pastry and bakery cooking techniques, ingredients, and regional specialties. Strong organisational and multitasking skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
