WE ARE HIRING EXPERIENCED PASTRY CHEFS (4-5 YEARS) TO JOIN OUR TEAM!

LOCATION:855 Oxford St, Toronto, ON M8Z 1L6 (Islington and Evans)
Availability:Must be able to start at 3:00 am and have a flexible availability (able to work weekdays, weekends and holidays).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCES:

  • Food Handlers Certificate is an asset
  • Pastry/Baking Diploma an asset (or working towards).
  • Four to Five years of experience working in a Pastry/Baking oriented environment
  • Ability to work weekdays, weekends and holidays and be flexible as required.
  • Must be energetic with a passion for food and a positive attitude.
  • Able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
  • Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Punctual and dependable attendance.
Responsibilities
  • Follow proper pastry preparation techniques and coordinates the use of time, material, and equipment to avoid waste and unnecessary expense.
  • Meet tight deadlines with good time management skills
  • Provide leadership/guidance to entry level pastry chef (commis)
  • Inspect and maintain the quality of the ingredients and measure them for specific recipes;
  • Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and health & safety in accordance with Toronto’s Food Handler certification program
