Responsibilities

We are looking for a service driven individual to join our five star Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to either begin or continue your career in one of the Leading Hotels of the World. Working with a professional and welcoming Team you will be part of creating Merrion Moments for our guests and colleagues, with your main duties including:

  • Prepare, produce, and present high-quality pastry items including desserts, breads, cakes, petit fours, and other baked goods.
  • Support the Executive Head Pastry Chef in the day-to-day running of the pastry kitchen.
  • Ensure consistent quality and presentation in all pastry dishes served.
  • Assist with menu planning and development of new pastry items.
  • Ensure all food preparation is carried out in accordance with food hygiene standards and regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry area, including stock rotation and waste control.
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate ordering needs with the kitchen team.
