FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

Fire, wood and charcoal are at the heart of Poetica Bar & Grill, a refined and relaxed modern Sydney bar and grill in the heart of North Sydney. We opened our doors to rave reviews in early September 2023 and received One Hat from the Good Food Guide in our first few weeks.
Along one side of the 120-seat light-filled restaurant is an impressive 700-bottle wine wall, glass-fronted dry-ageing cabinets, and a 15-metre-long open kitchen featuring a Josper charcoal oven and custom wood-burning hearth.

THE SKILLS YOU BRING

  • Experience working within a commercial kitchen
  • Qualification in commercial Cookery or equivalent experience
  • 2 years’ experience in a la carte, fine dining or Hatted environments
  • Reliable and dependable, you will be able to stand the pace of a kitchen that puts equal emphasis on precision and speed
  • Commitment to personal and professional development
