Nestled in the charming village of Beauly, just 12 miles northwest of Inverness, our hotel features 37 bedrooms, a popular restaurant, a welcoming coffee lounge, and a lively bar that serves both guests and the local and wider community.
We are looking for an experienced and versatile Chef de Partie to join our busy kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate chef who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is eager to contribute to a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Grill Work – Confidently cook and plate dishes from the grill section
Food Preparation – Assist with daily prep to ensure smooth service
Service Execution – Plate starters, desserts, and support the kitchen during busy periods
Baking & Pastry – Assist with baking preparation and pastry work as required
Stock & Organisation – Keep food areas replenished and well-organised
Teamwork & Communication – Take direction from senior chefs and collaborate effectively
Quality & Standards – Maintain high levels of hygiene, food safety, and presentation
Adaptability – Work across different sections as needed, ensuring smooth service flow
What We’re Looking For:
Thrives under pressure while consistently delivering high-quality dishes.
Collaborative and professional, bringing a positive attitude to the team.
Keen to learn and receptive to guidance from senior chefs.
Extensive experience in a high-volume kitchen, with a solid understanding of allergens and food safety.
Passionate about cooking and baking, with confidence across all kitchen sections.
Holds or is willing to obtain a Level 2 Food & Hygiene Certificate.
Experienced in fast-paced environments and able to adapt quickly.
Reliable and flexible, with a strong work ethic and adaptable schedule.
Works well within a team but is also capable of handling tasks independently.
Salary: Negotiable based on experience and age
