Responsibilities

Menu Execution & Culinary Management

  • Deliver exceptional execution of the menu, maintaining the highest standards for each dish produced in your section.
  • Take full ownership of your section’s mise en place, ensuring all ingredients are prepped and ready for service.

Inventory & Stock Management

  • Manage stock levels within your section, conducting inventory checks, and ordering supplies to meet service needs without surplus or deficit.
  • Apply principles of stock rotation and conservation to reduce waste and maintain cost-efficiency.

Hygiene & Cleanliness

  • Uphold the cleanliness of your section, adhering to health and safety standards meticulously.
  • Ensure all equipment and tools are kept in excellent condition and observe strict sanitation practices.

Operational Efficiency

  • Assist in optimizing kitchen workflows and processes to ensure your section runs efficiently.
  • Actively participate in team meetings to discuss improvements and solutions to operational challenges.

Compliance & Safety

  • Adhere to all restaurant policies, procedures, and culinary standards, ensuring compliance with local health and safety regulations.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with culinary techniques and safety protocols.
