Join our supportive leisure team whose job it is to help people live their best lives — whether they’re on holiday, visiting an attraction or treating loved ones to a special experience.    About the Opportunity   An exciting opportunity is available for an enthusiastic and energetic Chef de Partie to join our talented kitchen team on a casual basis.   In this role, you will help lead the effective day-to-day operation of the kitchen, working collaboratively with the wider culinary team to deliver high-quality food and exceptional service to our members and guests.   This could be just the right role for you?     As a Chef de Partie, you will report to the Executive Chef and be supported by other senior members of the kitchen brigade. Dining options at RACV Noosa Resort include buffet breakfast in our Arcuri Restaurant, bar service for lunch and dinner, poolside dining, in-room dining, and our popular pizzeria overlooking the infinity pool.The resort also caters for large corporate groups through our conference and event facilities. Key responsibilities include:   Preparing and serving a consistently high-quality product Managing stock rotation and minimising wastage Overseeing and performing operational duties within your section Working across all areas of the kitchen operation as required Training and inducting staff, and supporting the development of apprentices, cooks and chefs   Roster flexibility is highly regarded.    What you’ll need to be successful    Previous Demi Chef or Chef de Partie experience A Commercial Cookery qualification, recognised in Australia Demonstrated cookery experience with well-developed knife skills Ability to thrive in a large, busy and fast-paced kitchen Capacity to safely lift up to 20kg and perform repetitive manual tasks Full working rights in Australia   We are Offering    Hourly rate + penalties for evenings, weekends & public holidays  Uniforms provided and laundered on site  Free parking on-site   Enjoy generous staff discounts within the resort  Long term career opportunities  Monthly employee reward and recognition program  Employee discounts on RACV products & services, including our portfolio of 9 resorts    The RACV difference    Be part of a team who cares.
