Job Title: Chef de Partie
Position Overview:
We are seeking skilled and motivated Chef de Partie professionals to join our dynamic culinary team. As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for managing and executing culinary tasks related to your designated station during breakfast, lunch, and dinner services. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of high-quality dishes, ensuring a delightful dining experience for our patrons.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and cook dishes assigned to your specific station with precision and consistency.
2. Collaborate with the culinary team to contribute to menu planning and development.
3. Supervise and train junior cooks or apprentices working under your station.
4. Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station, following food safety and hygiene standards.
5. Contribute to maintaining a positive and collaborative kitchen environment.
6. Execute tasks efficiently to meet service timeframes and uphold quality standards.
7. Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques, incorporating creativity into dishes.
8. Assist in inventory management and control to minimize waste.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a professional kitchen.
2. Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred.
3. Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, flavors, and ingredients.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure during peak hours.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
6. Familiarity with modern fusion and sustainable cuisine is a plus.
Working Hours and Compensation:
- Minimum of 32 hours per week for Chef de Partie position.
- Chef de Partie positions cover breakfast, lunch, and dinner services.
- Hourly wage starting at $ 24 -25 per hour.
