Your new jobAs a Chef de Partie at Jaarbeurs, you work in one of our five professional kitchens and contribute daily to the culinary experience of over 2.3 million Jaarbeurs visitors per year. From creative (vegetarian) dishes to theatre dinners and exhibition catering. Together with the team, you ensure quality, variety, and taste, with plenty of room to further develop yourself.The five kitchens at Jaarbeurs are: the central kitchen in the Event & Exhibition Center, the central kitchen in the Beatrix Building, and two restaurant kitchens (Queens and Speys). You enjoy being part of a driven team of chefs and working on varied meals with freshly prepared local products.Your tasks and duties include, among others:You take care of the mise en place and the (partial) preparation of the dishes. In the central kitchen, the hot and cold kitchens are separated. In the restaurants, you work à la carte and in an all-round capacity.During events, you may be deployed for live cooking, where you prepare fresh food for our guests.Because we have multiple kitchens, you will rotate through them. We take your preference into account: if you prefer a more fixed position in a restaurant or central kitchen, that is possible.We work based on recipes in our central kitchens, and in our restaurants, you work according to the menu.Quality comes first; you work with the best ingredients.
